What is TAT?
​Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT) is a simple and effective means of addressing the sources of stress which may or may not include a major trauma.
Is tat safe?
​​When doing TAT, we are never required to re-live any traumatic experiences, and in fact, are gently guided away from them by focusing on the Steps of TAT.  Certified TAT professionals are trained to help with anything that might come up in your session.  For this reason, when working with big or old traumas, working with a TAT Professional is recommended.
​How can something this simple relieve what has been bothering me for years?
Well, let's see. How many times have you cut a finger?  Have all those cuts healed?  How did that happen? Have you, or someone you know, ever had a broken bone? Has it healed? How did that happen? Ever have the flu, or been sick, with a high temperature, had a hangover, a sunburn, the measles  (for which there is no scientific treatment), chicken pox  (for which there is no actual cure)? Have  they healed? How did all that happen? TAT allows that same natural, innate healing wisdom, in our bodies, to heal the stress we are holding within.
How is it done?

By simply connecting a few acupuncture points and putting our attention on certain aspects of the source of the stress, we allow the body to heal.  It's hard to believe it can be that simple, but time and again, people are surprised to find that, without re-living the trauma, and without any drama or catharsis, the stress seems to have simply... dissolved.   ​
Will the stress return?
Will the stress come back? In my experience, that is like wondering if a cut finger will start bleeding again, once it has healed.
